The Education System - Creativity

Creativity has been killed over the years in schools. Creative classes such as art, choir, drama and dance have been put underneath academic classes. Without creativity in our daily lives, life would get pretty boring. Creativity allows us to express ourselves and it gives us our own voice. I think that schools put creativity below academics because they think that they isn’t as many practical options for a career in that form, which isn’t true. Schools should encourage creativity because the more creative you are, the more ways you are able to learn. If you grow up believing that there are only two ways to get things done, you won’t go very far in life. If schools started to encourage creativity, then they would find that their students would be more well rounded, and be their better self. The fact that schools kill creativity is just sad, and it needs to stop.
